- The purpose of SEO articles / texts is always to gain traffic via search engines (Google).
- A text will aways focus on a few focus keywords. For example: a page about Pamers promotions, will focus on ‘Pampers promoties’, ‘Pampers aanbiedingen’ and ‘Pampers korting’. It is important to mention these in 1 subtitle and at least once in the text.
- Always use subtitles. Try to use lists as well. For inspiration on subtitles (and content in general), use relevant keywords and search intent questions (now that’s interlinking!).
- Write short paragraphs (max 5 senteces) or split up your longer paragraphs after you’re done. This increases the scannability and readability of a text.
- Try to interlink to exisiting pages and articles as much as possible. For example: if you’re writing an article on diapers, link to the brand page for Pampers and link to an article about how to change a diaper.
- NEVER copy anything from another website. If needed, rewrite the text. Never use the same paragraph or text twice.
- Always use an image with correct alt tags (preferably an alt tag that contains the most important keyword)
- If possible, use lists. Google loves them.
